"Connecting skimmers all over the world"

The Blueback crew is stoked to host the first ever Blueback Apparel Isle Style Skim Jam on the 21st of August at beautiful Parksville Beach on Vancouver Island.

There will be oodles of giveaways, rider prizes/packages, and raffle items from some of the sickest sponsors in the league. So far (the list of sponsors gets bigger every day), the following sponsors have confirmed their support of the event: Sitka, Sex Wax, Kayotics Skimboards, FLaV Boarding, Bill & Ted's Boardshop, Instrumental Skateboards, Concyse Clothing, Higher Ground Clothing Gallery, TydleMag, SkimBC, Lucid Clothing, DB Skimboards, Zed Skimboards and Alternative Groove Boardshop.

Registration & warm-up is set to begin at 9AM and the first round of friendly jam-style competition is set to kick off at 10:30. There will be several rounds with different rails and obstacles for your skimboarding appetites to feast on and each round will offer prizes for best trick etc.

Not a skimboarder? Come check the event anyway! There will be plenty of flatland bangers for you to gaze at, the chillest vibes, the raddest people you will ever meet, free giveaways, and raffles.
