        Spots are a very vital part of skimboarding, you are very limited to your posibilities by the quality of your spot. Unlike skateboarding and other board sports, where the conditions are always the same, skim spot's conditions may vary a lot. That's why it's very important that you spend some time to find a suitable spot that allow's you to develop your skimboarding skills. But finding a good spot is not always that simple, that's why we've created this detailed collection of flatland spots from all over the world, it may only offer spots that are too far away from your local area or it may easy your searching for new places or helping you decide where to travel, in any case we feel that collecting and sharing the knowledge of the whole commmunity will benefit the growth of sport, make unnoticed scenes come into the spotlight or simply just make you aware that there are other skimmers out there shredding and loving their local spot as much as you do with your own.

        We hope that you as a member of a great sport take your time to share your discoveries with the rest of the community!

        We all know the feeling of beeing a newbie because we've all once been one. And some times you can have a really hard time learning new things if you don't have anyone with more experience there to guide you. And this is where the meaning of this section comes in. We, the skim.se staff, along with all of our users have created this rich section called Skim School, that will take you from scratch to mastering the good sport of skimboarding. You don't have to be a complete newbie to find this section interesting, there are lots of great guides for more advanced skimmers to read and learn from. Our goal is to collect knowledge from skimmers all around the world and making it available for anyone to learn from. Skim.se wishes you the best of luck with your skimboarding career!
